Harrison Hill Elementary

Harrison Hill Elementary is a majestic building built in 1924. Nearly 90 years of use, however, has worn on the building, which is in dire need of a new heating system and windows, masonry work and inside wall repairs, among other items.

In the basement of Harrison Hill is a decades-old steam heat boiler system that is many years past its life expectency and highly inefficient.

These railings at Harrison Hill would be replaced with taller railings with smaller gaps.

This stained ceiling tile indicates a leak of some sort in the ceiling.

Window Wall

When this addition was built decades ago, a cheap, commonly used system called a "window wall" was installed. It is highly inefficient and sometimes leaks.

Classroom Wall

The aqua-color Geneva Cabinets are in need of replacement with more modern storage system than this one installed decades ago.

Access points for some areas of the piping systems are located in classrooms, causing a distraction for students when maintenance or emergency repairs are necessary.

Harrison Hill's basement has flooded multiple times in recent years shutting off heat to the building and causing some damage to the heating systems.
